A two-to-six week internationalization
course
for Asian Business People
This is the most intensive program Ionis
International offers, and is one of the most unique and
innovative training systems available. Using an experiential
learning model, Ionis International initially developed this
cultural immersion course to help Japanese firms improve the
international business skills of their work force, and as
a means for selecting and preparing personnel for overseas
work assignments. Ionis International professionals have conducted
these programs since 1989.
Japanese business people travel to the U.S. for this four-
to six-week program. Living in an entirely American environment,
the Japanese participants undergo a careful sequence of classroom
training and structured community-based experiences. Successful
trainees, at the completion of the program, have the basic
knowledge, experience, and intercultural communication skills
necessary for functioning in the U.S. business arena.
